Hi David, we always find the best area is at the Waterfront bar, buy a drink or a meal and ask for the days password, and away you go.

Access while in the bars is great but can anyone tell me where I can buy a sim pre paid and loaded for data to use I’m my iPad. We are staying in a villa without wifi but would like to use it without having to go out.

      Any info would be great.

The area on and around Chucaras beach also has free wifi. I think it’s provided by the council ? used it on the beach while we were there in Sept.

Moviestar offer a modem/dongle for 39 euros, this includes 12 euros credit for about 30mb of air time per day, only 2 or 3 places you can buy these one in Playa Blanca, one in Playa Honda and one on the way to Costa Teguise in Los Molinos on the dual carriage way, and you will need to provide your passport to purchase it, it works in this way each day you connect it will cost 3 euros if you go over the 30mb a second charge of 3 euros kicks in until the 12 euros is used up
Hope this is of some help
