Where can we eat cheaply in Costa Teguise?

Asked by: 25th June 2014 ,

We went to Costa Teguise in April , All Inclusive. and we loved it so much we are going back in August but having 2 holidays close together we have had to opt for self catering. Wondered where we can eat cheaply do not want anything posh. T7hanks in advance.

We were ‘all inc’ in May -June and it was crap. Found the restaurants and bars in CT great value for money.
I recommend the Cutty Sark for breakfast and Sunday lunch ( portions are amazing).Almost every place we ate had good offers on and even the super markets are well stocked and cheap.
We are going back next May-June and SC for us also as it’s cheap.

Gutted that the German BBQ place had closed down. My sons just back and was disappointed too as it was great value.

Just have a look about – most of the brit/irish run pubs do food – fairly reasonable.

We always find pizzas usually good value in restaurant and chinese in resort represent good value

Just back and you certainly can eat very cheaply if you wish,

The all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet places offer great value for about 5 Euros each plus your drink. Our favourite is the Slow Boat down by the Galeon Playa but they are all pretty decent.

The pubs are great too and many have 2 meals for 10 Euros – Pizza, Sherperds Pie, Spag Bol etc. Try the Highlander and the Mowtown Bar next to the Celeste Apptmts, the Dolphin Inn at the front or Cactus Jacks out by the El Trebol.

The main restaurants are not too expensive and if you avoid the wine you can have a decent meal for two for 30-40 Euros.

Whatever you choose you’ll enjoy and have a great time.

As Neil says the Cutty Sark for Sunday Lunch the portions are amazing, The Water front too is very good.

we went one night to the Sands Beach resort and the food was good there too

Why not try something more authentic – tapas. There are plenty of tapas places which are very good and pretty inexpensive.

If you fancy Tapas try Casa Felix in Playa Bastian, 2.50 euro per portion.

Order 5 between 2 and you’ll have enough for a nice meal.

I agree with Frank, I have had tapas at Casa Felix many times, always go 4 or 5 times for meals there when in CT. Love the Canarian music on Fri. & Sat. nights. Felix & his staff are great.

    Hi there

The Cutty Sark is fantastic for food. Reasonably priced with huge portions & the owners make you feel so welcome too.
If you want cheap food & drink which is nice and don’t mind the walk then Cactus Jacks is the place to go too – they do meals from 6 euros and a set 3 course meal each night for 9 euros. Happy hr is from 8-9.30pm which gives you local beer, wines & spirits as buy one get one free so 2 large beers cost 2.50 euros or 2 bacardi & cokes cost 4 euros – a bargain hey!
We never go All Inclusive as there are so many places to eat & drink which work out cheaper.
