What’s your favourite restaurant in Costa Teguise and why?

Asked by: 12th September 2013

Ok, lot’s of posts about smoking, A.I -v- S.C, how much is a pint of lager and whats the weather like in the future but i sometimes think these posts are getting away from whats really important, telling people about this lovely island.

I’m a tourist and spend every available holiday i get from work in the uk and come to Costa Teguise so id really like to know what your top restaurants are in CT and why.

Mine are Casas Felix for just an amazing dining experience with wonderful food, great prices and such attentive service, especially Fridays and Saturdays when there is live local music.

The next is La Tunera in Playa Bastian for just ridiculously great food and huge portions for almost silly prices!!!

Sausalito, again in Playa Bastian, for a nice meal in a lovely setting, really friendly, great food and just a great feel to it.

I love the Shu Lin Cok chinese opposite Nazaret apartments for refusing to do a buffet and turning out the freshest tasting and cooked to order Chinese food i have ever tried.Plus they deliver so a right bonus there.

I need to find a really nice pizza place and a very Spanish restaurant, full of charm and character so can you help and also tell me your favourite places to eat and why?

Thanks

Very good pizzas at Restaurant “Mi Piace”, located on Avda Islas Canarias 15, just before hotel Los Zocos,

For true spanish restaurant, try “El Fondeadero”, Avenida de los Corales 22, when you are leaving Costa Teguise, before Inalsa.

Have to agree with Michael about El Fondeadero, genuine Spanish food. In Costa Teguise itself I highly recommend La Bohemia which is situated on Avenida Islas Canarias opposite the Las Maretas complex. Best steaks on the island (in my opinion) plus plenty of interesting tapas.

Repikada Avenida Islas Canarias for tapas although a Trip Advisor comment had it closed in May – (not sure if closed or open now)

Spanish – we like one next to the beach – begins with B I think

Mr Romeo’s was good as well – in the Las Maretas complex

Personal choice of course so no doubt others may disagree
