What is the weather like in costa teguise in december?

Asked by: 20th August 2013 ,

We have just got back from costa teguise and are thinking of booking again for a week in December.  Can anyone tell me what the weather is like at that time of year and are the bars still lively aswell.  Thanks, debbie

We have been in December twice, the second time being last year when we were there the first week. There were some rain showers on a couple of days, but they didn’t last too long. Day time temperatures were pleasant, low 20s. The evenings are a lot cooler so take a cardigan or fleece, but I was wearing shorts in the day and came back with a tan. It obviously isn’t as busy as it is in summer, but the bars we go to were still quite busy around Pueblo Marinero. If you hire a car to go around, the weather was better at the south of the island (Papagayo was lovely) rather than around Orzola which was very cloudy.

Don’t be put off booking because you’re worried about the weather: we have been in October and had 2 whole days of rain and in January when it was about 25 every day and didn’t rain once.

Thanks Cat, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. We have never been away in December before so just a bit worried about the weather and what it would be like at that time of year. Thanks again. Debbie

    Hi Debbie.

We have been to CT at various times of the year. Once we had a sneaky last minute week just before Christmas (16th-23rd December) and it was one of our best weeks for weather!

    You just can’t tell.

There’s still lots of people about as, unlike some resorts, it doesn’t close for winter.

    Have a lovely time.
