There is a chinese in the old part of CT. It is OK but the food is very greasy. It is called The China Inn but more commonly known to us locals as The Golden Tampon

There are many chinese restaurants. Some offer a buffet at 4.5euro per head and we agree with Tony that the Slow Boat is great. They do offer a la carte as well if you prefer freshly cooked. An alternative is the jumbo in las Cucharas next door to Popeyes.here you get to order freshly cooked food off a reasonable menu for an all inclusive price of approx 6.95euro per person. My wife prefers her food freshly cooked, so we do eat there now but the ribs are a bit iffy in my opinion but the rest is very nice and you can order as much as you want. My friend had 3servings of his favourite duck. Hope this helps.

Well LuLu you seem spoilt for choice
Is it down to the Golden Tampon for greasy food ( the name puts me off )
Or over to Jumbo for iffy ribs

Maybe you should try something Spanish instead. I dread to think what I would be eating for 5 or 6 euros.

Sounds like a very good idea Kitty i am with you

I will normally eat anything but for the last few years the one thing I have avoided in CT is Chinese restaurants. Fair enough if you are looking to eat on the cheap but there is so much better fare on offer.

I agree with EJPM. The last thing you want is to have your holiday ruined by a touch of the Eartha Kitts.

5 euro meal swilled down with cheap lager what do expect its got be the Eartha Kitts

DCH watch out for the iffy ribs Ha HA

Sorry david , I do not know the answer to your question but it is only a short walk from your usual haunts ,so stroll up and find out. I would like to concur with other contributors regarding the chinese restaurants but the questioner did ask for a Chinese restaurant. I would always prefer tapas at Felix.

Hi Lulu, we go to the Shang Hai restaurant next to the square every time we visit C.T and
always have a lovely meal. It’s not a buffet and is made to order I would definitely recommend
    it.

Hi Lulu, I agree with Sue, we went to the Shang Hai in June, we really enjoyed our meal, and would go back again.

Two very nice chinese restaurants on the Avenida del Mar, can’t remember their names but ate at both when over in CT in March and June. One across the road from Playa Bastian and the other by El Navarro across from the Coronas Apartments. Not the cheapest but great food and nice surroundings.
