Are these on the seafront? i remember splash, but think it has changed name, it seems to change name every time i go! but if it was the one i think you mean, it was open when i went in December.
Lighthouse is a good bar with a singer on every night, it’s up on the edge of the square and for really cheap drinks, we used to go to a tiny little bar in the square called, Chis pas? i think thats what it is called, it’s nick name is cheap as, you can’t miss it, it’s always packed out because it such good value.
lively ladies is also a good night out if you want a good laugh.
    Have fun.

The Seafront bar is excellent for food and drink Carling 2 euro great entertainment also excellent views over the harbour. For breakfast it has to be Mowtowns wher you get a proper English Breakfast for under 2 Euros.

Hennessys is still there with the fantastic welcome it has always had. Had the best steak over New Year and fantastic weather too.

The lively ladies is the best bar for entertainment, different show every night (no show on a thursday) The Bulldog is great if you want to watch the football, and also does a great english breakfast for 2 euros.

The small bar under the bandstand in the square, I think its called The Snug is very good for live music.
Best for live entertainment got to be The Lively Ladies Showbar, Its across the road at the back of the square.

Chispas in Pueblo Marinero on a Friday evening, great atmosphere and the smallest bar in town!

      Where is Chispas?
      What is it near!

      • Malkyp. on Jan 20, 2011

Chispas is situated on the higher level of The Square ( behind the bandstand) next door to the Patio restuarant.

The Snug has a great singer comedian on most nights. There are loads of bars/pubs there and it is purely personal choice. The square is enchanting on a Friday night when it is all lit up with fairy lights for the craft market

Always liked Hooks in the old square for a night cap – great to people watch, lively cocktails and good staff – Carlos the boss is good fun when you get to know him.

chispas for cheap drink but it is a cupboard with tables outside but la vida has definitely taken over from legends as the No 1 live music venue and they have a real live band …quality
