I”m not an expert on the public transport services but i think you may have to go to via arricefe to get to haria. The tourist information office (off the top end of the square are very helpful)I went to Famara on the local bus from playa bastian,it went through Teguise and i”m sure i saw the haria bus,but i could be wrong.Famara is worth a short visit,35 min journey,2.75 euros each way enjoy regards dave

Im not an “expert” on “experts” but what makes you an “expert”.

Read the answer again Michael, David clearly said he was NOT an expert!!

……ehm, probably Bill as David’s tag reads ‘Lanzarote Expert’? Personally I thought David’s post was very informative although, no pun intended, I am no expert….

Bill, read the “tag” next to his name.

Micheal Watson, you must be called a real bright spark at home.”Lanzarote Expert”is put next to your name depending how many likes you get for answering questions.I love lanzarote so much i like to pass on my limited knowledge of the island.Being a pensioner i try to keep costs down when spending time on the island.I book my flights, transfers and hotels direct with the companies concerned, the hotels especially prefer this and i get really well looked after(free sea view etc).I have been critical of AI but that has been through personal experience, but if you are a family with young children on a short break,it could be the better choice regards dave the hat(as known in costa teguise lol)

David, i was not being funny or sarcastic or a “bright spark”,all i was doing was making a general enquiry as to how you got the tag at the side of your name, thank you. I too love lanzarote and living on the outskirts of teguise i know first hand the damage AI is doing to our economy.

Wow! Thank you so much guys for your answers. When I posted this question I did also include why I wanted to go to Haria, but for some reason the post must not have uploaded correctly. We visited a restaurant with Customer Travel a few years ago for lunch on a tour, Meson La Frontera in Haria – and we want to go back for a long leisurely boozy lunch when we return at Easter, but did not want to drive. I know the taxi would cost in excess of 40 euro each way – unless anyone else knew of a cheaper, reliable way we could get there and back of course….maybe a private company who wouldnt charge the earth to take us there and collect and return us back to Costa Teguise….
You are all experts and thank you all once again :o)
