Asked by: 29th September 2011

I am in CT mid November, do Cactus Jacks still do the Teguise Market trip on Sundays?

Most bars/restaurants seem to offer the market trip – so even if they have stopped plenty of others will be doing it – alternatively you could catch the local bus from outside Los Zocos – works out cheaper .

Even better, have you any idea of the pick-up time there? (We arrive Saturday afternoon for a week, so wont have much time to find out)

dont use your travel agent, 1st time we booked thru them it was 14euros each, you can get a sunday lunch and market trip for less than that… and yep most bars can book seats for you. pick up is after 9am and another pick up after 10am.

think the local buses go from about 9.00am and return from about 12.30pm – €2 seems to ring a bell for teh fare (single I think) – as Gordon says thru an agent is very expensive

Just back from Lanzarote and went to Teguise market and picked up some nice stuff. Also got a couple of fantastic paintings from a nice little gallery. Been 5 times this year and every time i have picked up some great bargains.
