The island is quite small, if you wake up early you can see quite a lot :
– Jameos del Agua,
– Orsola, fishing harbor & beautiful beaches around.
– Famara beach
– Mirador del Rio
– Timanfaya Volcanic Park
– La Geria wines
– Playa Blanca, Papagayo beaches

I depends on where you are arriving in to (airport, ferry from Fuerteventura etc), but we recently took friends on the following approximate agenda:
10.00 start: Drive to Cesar Manrique Fundacion, near Tahiche/Teguise. This is the previous home of the great artist and sculptor Manrique, whose works you will see all over the island. Allow 2 hours, and have an ice cream or coffee in the open courtyard before you leave.
12.30: leave and drive to Timanfaya National Park, arriving about 1 pm. Buses will take you on a guided tour of the famous volcano. The history of the last eruption and the geology is fascinating. Allow 2 hours, leave at 3 pm.
3.00: Option 1: Drive south to El Golfo for a late fish lunch in any one of 6 or so restaurants.
Option 2: Drive North to Mirador del Rio and see the wonderful mountain top view of La Graciosa, the neighbouring island.
5.30: Sundowner/sunset drinks (assuming it is winter hours)at Famara or El Golfo.
