    Hi Steve,
Goods restuarants are Playa Mar on the strip. a bit more expensive but great food,
Abit further along is chiquitos, a mexican restuarant great food great prices, these are both worth a visit then im sure you will find one that will be your favourite, there are lots of great ones on the front, and you have all the irish bars on the front some are upstairs and have live music,
there is also Trpical bar on the front gets busy, and the legendary American Indian Bar, great band on each night till 2 pm, (THE BAND QUSTION) AGAIN WORTH A VISIT,
    You will enjoy it

just back from hols. try the big mexican restaurant just after route 66 bar, the food is fabulous, maybe a bit expensive! under no circumstances go to meson do marineiro(opposite th grasshopper pub) we ate there and it was the worst meal we have had in all the years of visiting lanzarote, the garlic prawns were burnt and the kids spaghetti was off and had to be sent back!!

P.S. in 2 weeks if you are there on the 12th its carnival night,
along the front 5 till when it finishes, people in lanzarote dont need an excuse to party but this night is
fantastic, they all get fancy dressed and the parade is great,
    Dont miss this one

We love Pinnochios restaurant just next to Centro Atlantico – it’s great value and the staff are great. Another one is Emma’s Cantina in the Old Town – down in Calle Teide. Also, there are too many good bars in PDC to mention, and if you are here for carnival well that will be a night to remember!
