Music licence ?

Asked by: 11th September 2017

Hi. Has the music licence issue been resolved yet? Also is it only costa teguise that’s affected or have other resorts lost some entertainment too?

Just got back from CT and there was still no music in the square. I personally prefer it as I don’t have to listen to a budding Ed Sheeran wailing away on the bandstand. On the bright side, you still have the old accordion player who can’t actually play a tune.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your reply.
That’s a shame really… we do like to go around the various bars to see who’s on, when and where! We particularly like listening to Anthony (and his sax)…. used to see him on the Bandstand one night and in The Venue on another..
Hope the bars will have their licenses sorted soon, if that’s what this is all about. I’m not being a selfish tourist here who just wants entertaining… (although it helps make a jolly evening on holiday)!..but hoping also that people aren’t suffering too much financially if their work opportunities have been reduced because of it.
And my husband will still be tipping the old accordion player … if he plays Besame Mucho!
We’re back in November.. can’t wait!
Thanks again Tom, it’s getting quieter on this website but I still enjoy reading the queries and looking at the webcam.
      Cheers!
