There is a Market in the Old the old town of Puerto del Carman on Fridays until about 2pm,
there is also a market in Puerto Calaro on Fridays too I think Puerto Calaro is on Wednesday too but your need to check

Arrecife Market on a Saturday, Playa Blanca on Wednesday and Saturday

    Sunday market in Teguise.

if your not hiring a car then there are local tour operators who do trips to most of the markets

If you can get over to Costa Teguise on a Wednesday evening there is a good market in the square

In my experience they are a waste of time. I’d not bother as most of the stuff you can buy in the resorts.

I do tend to agree with you Frank on the Sunday Teguise Market most of the stuff there you can get in the resorts and at the same price or in some cases cheaper,
we found Puerto Calaro market fine ok the there were a few things I would not buy there but on the whole it was ok

How I think it works is they collect all the rubbish on the island then try and sell it on Sunday at the Teguise market its the worse market I have seen my advice is keep clear

The fist time we went we found so nice linen table cloths but that’s all and last time went its was a lot of stuff you get in the resorts now.

Found some of the food and drink vendors expensive too 1 tried to charge us 2euros for a can of coke
