Is the weather usually cloudy in June?

Asked by: 10th May 2014

Hiya,

I just need some peace of mind 🙂

Me and my Fiance travelled to Tenerife last year and we stayed in the North which was extremely cloudy all the time and he wasnt impressed with my choice ( i wasnt either lol )

I have booked a holiday in Puerto Calero for the 10th June 2014 – should i expect it to be cloudy? I have looked at the weather forecast for recent days and it seems to be partly cloudy on most occasions.

Thanks in advanced, and any other tips please let me know!

Zoe.

I haven’t seen a cloud in the last 4 Days and really don’t expect to see much in the next few weeks. Tenerife North is notorious for lots of cloud cover so put your mind at ease and bring plenty of Sun Block.

The weather is normally great in June. Be sure to take plenty of bread to feed the fish in the marina. I have never seen so many fish in all my life, you feel like you could walk on them.

Thank you all for your helpful comments! I will be sure to take plenty of sunblock and bread for the fish!

A question for Tom:- Is fishing allowed in the Marina in Puerto Calero, or do you know of any locations nearby. We do have a fishing licence!

No fishing allowed in the marina you will get moved fairly quickly if you give it a go
You need to fish off the rocks but I have never given It a try in PC
Also there are signs up in the harbour in the old town PDC stating no fishing allowed don’t see a problem myself

Bill, I think David has answered your question. Anyway, it would be unfair to fish in the marina as the fish would literally climb up your line. I have fished off the rocks in Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Teguise but that was some time ago. I prefer to see mine on a plate now with a slice of lemon.
