If you can swim – Yes. I only go to Lanza in January – and always have a swim in the sea – its the best hangover cure ever !!!

It’ll obviously be a few degrees cooler than in the summer months but you will be able to

Yes. It may be a bit chilly for some who might only manage a paddle to cool down.

Hope you have a fantastic time ……. the first of many visits maybe 🙂

Thank you all very much for taking the time to answer my question. The reason I asked was because we are going to the Santa Rosa apartments and heard the pool is freezing

Possibly the best time of year. Sea will still be warm and Inviting.

Apartment Pools unless heated at that time if year do tend to be on the cold side Linda where we are staying at the Galeon Playa one is heated the other is not and its cold in the non heated pool in October

Steve. We have just booked Galeon Playa for next month. Our first visit there, though been going to Costa Teguise for some years. Any suggestions on best room we can email and ask for prior to going? We prefer the top floor.

We like the ones with the sea view, watching the tide come in and out over Playa Jabillo.

The shops and road aren’t so much a problem for us really – traffic doesn’t go fast because it is a large ‘U’ turn really. We have had some overlooking the pools, but we prefer the sea. Having said that, if you have little people, you may prefer those closer to the kiddies area so you don’t have so far to walk backwards and forwards all the time.

I like Playa Jabillo, You don’t get any problems with traffic or even the bars on that side of the Galeon Playa

Jackie we have all ways had ground floor rooms depends on where you want to look out to sea or in to the complex over the pools or children’s play area rooms in block E7 over look the mail pool which we have stayed in in the past but as I say only ground floor, last year we were in E9 which we liked ok we had the children’s play area out side but we found that fine.

blocks E 1 to E3 you get sea views only thing is there over the shops looking down on the road.

our pref is rooms in Blocks E7 E9 or E10
