How warm is it now ?

Hi keep checking the webcam and never seem to see anyone sunbathing. The people I have seen walking seem to be wearing long sleeves and trousers. Bit worried about the weather, arriving 12th Feb and was hoping to be able to lay in the sun. Does anyone know if it will be warm enough. Thank you in advance

    Hi Debby, we are out at the same time and have done for years. 9 times out of 10 it will be lovely, may need a cardigan/jumper of an evening as it can get ‘cool’ but still loads warmer than the uk. In February, its about keeping out of the mild breeze, if you can find a sheltered spot you can get totally frazzled!!! I bet you will be able to lay in the sun for sure. See you there.

    hey. you will be fine if you wear a shawl and keep the kids jumpers handy. The reason you may not see anyone sunbathing on the webcam is that maybe they have gone for lunch possibly. The sun is still lovely and yellow. hope you have a great break.

    Just came back on Saturday, last week was very cool wind was right fromm the North and if the clouds came over it was quite cold, Having said that when the sun was out it was still better than a good British summer, nights were very cool and you really do need a jacket or good thick shawl for the ladies. I’ve been going in January for a few years and this was the coolest I’ve known. Still a lot better than U.K. and the sun is still strong you will get a good tan. Have a good holiday.

    I’ve been in Jan + Feb in the past and always come back with a tan – as Shreka said you might be looking at lunchtime when the beach empties out – also people in long trousers and long sleeves might be people that live there that have aclimatised? ? Its always wise to put suncream on even if it looks overcast as the sun comes out and then you see lots of people that didn’t realise how sunny it was goint to be that end up looking like lobsters

    Was in playa blanca from 17th Feb last year. As others have said, fine through the day, definitely warm enough to sunbathe 11 til 5 ish. I only found it chilly if sat out for long periods on an evening.

    Hoping to be back there myself in 3 weeks :-)

    we came back on jan 19th, and we both had good tans from sitting on balcony till 10-30am then out for the day.
