Heated Pool Anywhere?

Asked by: 23rd February 2013 , , ,

Hi, does anyone know accomodation on the island with a heated pool? We had a great holiday last year, but unfortunately one of my children has a circulation problem and couldn’t use the pool (even with a wet suit).  Really hoping to visit again this October and would be grateful if anyone could help to narrow down our search. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Elizabeth, have a look at villasun.net website. These are quality villas at a really good price and all the pools are heated. We have stayed in these villas a few times now and always been very happy. They are in an excellent position for all the amenities of CostaTeguise. Hope this helps.

    Hi Elizabeth..

I would definately explore the self catering private villa option rather than a resort…

The reason i say this is because you can discuss the situation regarding your childs need for warmer water in the pool with the owner of the villa prior to booking / arriving and ask if they can raise the temperature of the pool via the thermostat . .

Most heated pools at a private villa will have a thermostat that regulates the pool temperature.

Im sure you could find a villa owner who will be able to accomodate your request… Pools cost money to heat and some owners charge for pool heating so be prepared to maybe have to pay out a little extra money. . Well worth it though if it means your child will be able to swim ..

That would be the route i would take to get a warmer pool anyway.
    Hope this helps..

Warmest pool we have found on the island was at the sands beach resort in Costa Teguise.
