I did write a bit more on my question, but it is ‘lost’ somewhere.

We will be in CT on 18th May and whilst the swimming part is a bit early in the day for us, we would welcome anyones comments / experience of watching the cycling or running.

If we went on the bus to PDC, would it be really busy? or would we not notice much inconvenience?

    Thanks in advance.

    Wendy

Thanks David. I have been looking on their website for the times, cycle route etc. Not sure about the 7am start though, but it might be a good atmosphere.

We’ve watched it on TV before, so just thought because we were actually in CT whilst it was on, that we might go and ‘be there’ (but maybe not at the start!).

    Thanks again.

Hi Wendy. I watched the start of the iron man swim last year and the place was packed on the beach and off. All the bars and cafes are open and the atmosphere was great. it was unfortunately a 7 o’clock start though!! 🙂
