Me and my partner were there last May and we found that we did not need a top or jacket at night, but people were telling us that it was warmer than normal in May, I would take one just in case

Thanks for your help Steve, hope it is warmer than usual again this May.

So am I so I hope not!!!! But realistically, I would take something because if it’s been really hot during the day, once the sun drops it can feel quite chilly especially if you’ve overdone the sun

Thanks for the advice rachael. I have heard of people feeling it chilly at night especially with a strong wind.

hi william, me and my partner go to costa tequise every year, no matter what season u visit u will generally need some form of cardigan/jacket for the evenings as it does get chilly. we usually go in june/july/august n in the evenings it is quite windy. looking forward to our visit for 2 weeks in july!

Thanks very much for the information Mike. I am looking forward to it, hope you and your partner have a good holiday. Thanks again.

The windiest time I have ever been to CT was in July & I’ve been at all times of the year. We went last week of July, first week of August. One of the residents told me that July is always windy due to the trade winds. Surely enough the wind dropped on the Sunday which happened to be August 1st. What a beautifully strange world we live in!!!!!!!!! Hope everyone enjoys their holidays this year. I’m there in May for a short break with a friend then back in August with the family and a few hangers on.

I have been there in August and if you got off your sunbed it blew in the pool the wind was that strong but in answer to the original question its wise to take a top for the evening as it can cool of any month of the year

Take a jumper as a precaution, you don’t have to wear it. I have been there in May and not felt the need to wear warm clothing. I once was there in December and my son and I wore shorts and T-shirts in the evening but the locals had jeans and coats on!! It all depends on your individual ‘cool’ tolerance level.

David and Matt, thanks for the advice.as you say the sensible thing would be to go prepaired just in case it gets a bit chilly.

I went in August last year and needed a jacket for 13 out of the 14 nights.
I had previously been in June and one year I didn’t need a jacket and the following year I did.
    I would advice taking one.
