    Hi Barry.

Me & my better half are in CT in September. I booked us a deep sea fishing trip as a birthday surprise. Although the boats leave from peurto del carmen, the people I booked through pick you up from whatever hotel you are at, take you to the port & drop you back to your hotel afterwards. (all included in the price). 6 HOURS FISHING, TACKLE & BAIT & A LIGHT LUNCH.

Take a look at the website www.sportfishinglanzarote.com The website does have links to take you to details & prices etc.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks for the info Lisa – unfortunately we’ve just come back! The text I posted hasn’t uploaded by the looks of it so I’ll post it again here.

Before we went I asked if anyone new if we could hire fishing gear in CT and nobody was quite sure. We found a shop in the plaza below the hotel Barcelo between the Crazy Loop shop and Krazy Lounge bar. It’s called Design Corner T Shirt and Sweatshirt shop (next to the cycle hire shop). Everything you need is 5 Euro (with a 20 Euro refundable deposit) a day and bait is available at 2/3 Euro depending on what you want.

If you’re not sure where to go head for the Waterfront, Cutty Sark, Dolphin bars and you’ll see it. Hotel Barcelo can be seen from the Las Cucharus beach.

    Hi all,
My wife and I are staying at the Blue Sea Costa Teguise Beach, all inclusive from September 3rd. We are aware it is a budget resort and for what we paid were not expecting much, but if anyone has stayed recently or is going before us, we would like to know if a refundable deposit will be asked for and how much, also any info on the place that might be useful to us such as since my booking form says land view apt will we be able to upgrade to pool view and if so how much, are the tv’s pay per view as weve heard they have coin slots attached?etc. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you soon
