There are so many places to eat in Costa Teguise that your spoilt for choice – would suggest you just try the ones you like the look of.

if you go to the main square ( puablo marinaro ) you will find all that you need within a few minutes walk. try “el patio” opposite hooks bar or if you walk past “chispas” you will pass a “tex mex” and just a bit further on is an italian ( sorry i can’t remember its name) both have excellent food, if you walk between hooks and el patio you will come to “the hacienda” on your right first class (in my opinion) my wife loves the salmon in foil. opposite is a new restaraunt which is run by the former owners of the mastil so the food should be very good. if you crave some english food go to “the inn on the souare” in the main square and have the steak pie (its homemade) its fantastic, if you try it say hello to dave & gloria (great people) and get all the local gossip. hope this has been some help.

As the others have indicated you will be spoiled by choice and every time we go we find somewhere new to rave about.

Most of the bars do food if you are looking for a cheap meal. There are numerous Chinese buffet resaurants doing all you can eat for just a few euros – the standard is surprising good. There are plenty of resonably priced restaurants from Mexican to Tex-Mex, and Indian to Tapas.

There are also some beautiful restaurants where for a few euros more you can eat top nosh !

As Karen says go ahead and try some and next time you’re back try some more. I’ve got a few favourites but best to try them out yourself. I’ve never had a bad meal and had plenty of great ones.

You’ll soon have a few favourites of your own. We’re not back till May and I can’t wait.

We found a lovely little restaurant last time we were here. Las Maretas in the shopping centre of the same name. Come out of Sirocco apts, turn right and walk along avenida de las canarias go past las chucaras shopping centre a bit further on on the same side you will come to a blue and white shopping centre. some buildings are empty her. Go through the main entrance and turn to right and you should find it. It is a small spanish restaurant and is always full with people waiting outside for a table so maybe it would be best to book. Lovely fish and local dishes with a very laid back and relaxed feel to the place. The owner seems to be the chef, waiter and maitre’de but this is not a problem. The dessert we ordered was flambéed at the table. If you try hope you enjoy.

Me husband and children absolutely love Costa Teguise. If you looking for a great restaurant with good service and great food you should definatley try la divina in the main square. My husband said it’s the best steak he’s ever had. I love it because it’s Italian and a list of varieties to choose from. It’s all made fresh to order. We end up going there most nights because we just love the food. Definatley visit el jabillo beach it’s very small and absolutely stunning. Hope you have a brilliant holiday.

My personal favourites are Ninas, Navarro (both near playa Bastian on the main road), Casa Blanca in the centre, El Pueblo tapas in the square. Il Divinio italian is also worth a visit. There really are too many to choose from, we have been going to Costa Teguise for years and they are still plenty we haven’t tried yet. Enjoy.

Hi, Lynsey, as you will have gathered, you have certainly made the right choice picking Lanzarote and especially CT. There are loads of fantastic places to eat and the prices charged, quality of food and more importantly, service, of almost every restaurant ive been to over the last 20 years of coming here could really teach the UK restaurant ‘scene’ a thing or two, in my humble opinion. I like to venture out a little in CT and get over towards Playa Bastian where there are a couple of lovely restaurants, Sausalito, for just its lovely environment, great food, attentive service and quality feel to it and La Tunera, for such amazing food at almost ridiculous prices!! I really dont think you will go wrong at all. Make sure you get to Villa Toledo though on the promenade to get a great view of the sunset, whilst sipping a mohito!! Hope you enjoy.

Also Playa Bastian way is La Jordana and Montemarte. A little bit more pricey than some but worth it. Fabulous food and service. For Tapas try Casa Luis or Casa Felix
