    It was closed in mid January when we were there, dont know what’s going on but someone could make a good business there

    We were there in August. The previous owners moved back to Manchester after having the bar for about 3 years. The bar was very popular in their hands. When we returned in August last, the bar had been run down badly, the food was poor, the portions smaller and the atmosphere gone. The three people that were working in there that day had no personality whatsoever, so if it has closed down, i’m not surprised. Could be a goldmine in the right hands…….

    I’ve heard that the son of the owner of the Auld Triangle is to take it over. He is a chef, apparently trained by Gordon Ramsay, so food should be good if this is the case.
