You can try Catlanza, they have some nice catamaran excursions. Departure from Puerto Calero. About the dolphins, it really depends on the day…

You also have the boat excursion to Alegranza and la Graciosa, departing from the North.

I have enjoyed both the catamaran trips with Catlanza from Puerto Calero to Papagayo and with Biosfera Express to La Graciosa and Alegranza.

There is also Pierre Lavagne who has runs the shelltone whale project and offers excursions from Puerto Calero, he takes small groups to call passing dolphins and whales.

There is also private yacht hire for the day with Atlantic Island Sailing where you can sail over to the island of Los Lobos or Papagayo.

Sightings of dolphins and whales is possible but can’t be guaranteed by any of these boat trips.
