If you hire a car you can do all of the main sights in a day. For a more leisurely trip do the north one day and the south the next.

Jameos del Agua is probably the most impressive.

Have to agree with Michael. My favourite trip out to show people the sights is the North trip. Aim for the old town of Teguise (stop and look round if you have time) and carry on up the Haria road. When you come up to the wind farms look for a turning on the left to Ermita de las Nieves. It’s a bit twisty turny but it’s worth the effort as when you arrive at the small church you have breath taking views across the island and down over Famara. Return to the main road and carry onto Haria stopping half way for a coffee at the restaurant overlooking the valley leading down to Arrieta. Pass through Haria and aim for the Mirador del Rio which is a fantastic Manrique lookout creation overlooking the island of Graciosa. Then aim across the island to Jameos del Agua stopping at the green caves if you have time. After seeing Jameos del Agua aim down the coast to Arrieta for a super meal in one of the restaurants there and then home for a rest. A perfect day out.
