I always use Autoreisen, pick it up at airport. Not new cars but good enough and best rates

I used autoreisen recently, was easy to sort out and the car was fine! I also liked that you don’t have to pay for a full tank of fuel upfront unlike a lot of others.

Another thumbs up for Autoreisen from me – I used them in March this year and had no problems at all.

The only thing I would change next time would be to go for a higher category car. I only needed a small car so I went for a Category A, which was a Chevrolet Aveo, and I thought it was a bit underpowered.

Once again, I found Autoreisen to be the best value, and as Emma stated you only have to bring the car back with the same amount of fuel.

I have used Autoreisen quite a few times on Lanzarote and the other islands. They have always been the cheapest. The service is quick with the minimum of fuss and I would definitely use them again.

I always use Autoreisen and have never had any problems – quite often they have given me a bigger car than I requested so a very good result

I have used autoreisen for the past 6yrs, if you book on line it saves a lot of paperwork when you arrive at the airport, i have just paid 96euros for 7days, also if you are a regular customer they keep your details and put you first in line for any upgrades at no extra cost. recommended highly.

Always Autoreisen. No extra cost, two drivers included. Paid only fuel used.
    59 euros for 4 days, Citroen C3.

Only Autoreisen ? Looks like they’re doing good business as nobody spoke about another company like : Cicar, Plus Car, Direct Car, Hertz, Autos famara, Autos Feber, Lanzauto, Payless, etc.. ?

We use Gold car hire and up to last year had good servive from them only down side they do charge for a full tank of fuel which we find we never use in a week, this year we hope to go for 3 weeks maybe longer so may get to use a full tank.
any way last year they did let us down a bit with the car they gave us a Citroen Berlingo well looking at it it looked more like it was used at times as a Builders Van by the state of it, they did say sorry and would give us a good discount next time

I wouldn’t bank on that discount Steve – a pound to a penny they’ll have forgotten about it by the time “next time” comes round!

I have only used Goldcar once (on Gran Canaria) and would never again – as you say their cars look like they have been round the block more than a few times, in fact they sometimes look as though they have crashed into the block!

Not only that but they also tried to charge me for pre-existing damage; I found their service to be poor.

The full tank thing is a rip-off as well. Even if you do use a full tank, they are charging you at their prices, which are much higher than pump prices.

Thanks folks for all the answers. Looks like everyone is using Autoreisen. For the last 6 years we have used a local company called RR Autos was just thinking of a change.
Have had no problems with them in the past and have always been cheaper for us.
    Thanks again….
