We are visiting Lanzarote in October and staying at Luabay Lanzarote Beach Hotel, we have heard good things about trips to Timanfaya Volcano, can we book trips locally or in our hotel does anybody know?

they will be wxpensive through the hotel – try lastminute or customer travel – both have offices in all resorts

    dont use your tour operator.

Agree with Gordon – the tour operators are very expensive – also you have to pay ‘up front’ so if your ill or the weathers bad then you have committed to go – with some of the trips with the other companies you don’t need to book just turn up at the bus stop at the allotted time and pay.

I have looked at customer travel but there are no prices on booking online
I presume you have to visit the local office

yeah need to go into the office – the customer travel have offices in all of the 3 main resorts – the shops are easy to find – can thoroughy recommend the volcano trip + camel ride good laugh.

It’s really easy – go into the shopping centre and its in the middle – there is a lady that walks along the beach that has leaflets – but you can’t miss the shop

Got to find the shopping centre now. I’m useless !

Why not hire a car for a couple of days. You could do the north one day and the south the next. You will get to see lots of stuff and probably cheaper too. The hire cars usually have a map in them, but if not you can pick one up for a couple of euros, which will guide you to the places worth seeing.
