Yes, Costa Teguise has a very long promenade. Lots of people running there every morning.

    Hi Jamie
My husband runs most days when we are there. There are coloured markers for you to follow which give varying distances depending on which colour you follow. Sorry but I cant remember the distances. On the promenade you will find maps showing you where the routes go. I think they are near the outdoor gyms. It is fairly easy going – no big hills.

I stayed at the sands Beach (which is at one end of the promenade) a couple of weeks ago. I ran to the other end and back every day. It was really pleasant as you are on the seafront all the way with no traffic. It felt like the whole run was just under 3 miles or so. As Kitty says, there are various walks/running routes that are colour coded (you will probably need a photocopy of the map to keep track of your bearings). I tried the 10k one but as you are on dirt tracks/back roads for much of the route I didn’t personally find it quite as enjoyable.

Hi, runs on the promenade are just great – we stayed at the Albatros Hotel last year in Feb and jogged every day. Either to the right side or left side on the promenade.

In Oct 10 we were staying in Puerto del Carmen and run on the promenade all the way to Arrecife ( along the airport ) very nice – distance back and forth approx. 10 – 15 km – depends how much u wanna do.

We’ll be in Puerto del Carmen in Mar and will practice their for our half marathon in May 11.
    Can’t wait =)
