Although I have never stayed there, I do own in Costa and believe that the Coronas is a good all inclusive. It is a Thomson Gold hotel and quite central for the resort.

I have heard mixed reports about the Thomson Gold. Have you thought about self catering? There are so many good eating places in Costa Teguise when we go we eat out for all meals Henessy’s for breakfast and loads of places to eat at night very reasonably priced have a look at Trip Advisor. if you fancy a villa there are some really central called Villa Sun they also have town houses which are a good standard. Just a thought for you.

Picking up on what Marian has said here we go all inclusive usually, but in when we come to CT we go self catering as the the places to eat here are wonderful and very good value dont mean British food, as we love to eat local foods but lots of great choice. We are going back for our 3rd time in 8 months and wouldnt even consider all inclusive, on many occaisions eating out we meet people who are at all inclusive hotels but are eating out as they have seen so many fabulous places to eat. We have added up the costs ect as I am quite a thrifty person and the costs for flights, hotels eating out and drinking ect was less than an all inclusive package. If you have children then maybe the all inclusive is better as i remember ours being young and ice creams, drinks ect can add up. Whatever you choose have a wonderful holiday.

Wendy you are right. We go else where in the summer and go 1/2 board, March and November is CT and like you would not consider A I as it is only the two of us. The eating out places are great and not talking fast food. Like you have looked at cost and don’t think it is anymore expensive eating out in good quality eating places we just came back last week and the food was great as usual.

I can recommend Villa Sun, have used them about 5 times now and the accommodation is like a home from home and the service from the staff is first class.

I agree with Paul and Marian about Villa Sun, they are fantastic villas to stay at. This will be our fifth visit in June and very much looking forward to it.
Also agree that there are loads of great places to eat at, we have never had a bad meal yet!
Does anyone know yet when the sunbeds are going to be put back on the beach? Mind you with staying at the Villas I must admit we don’t visit the beach all that much but is always nice to have the option.
