I was told earlier this year by a resident you don’t have much choice as there is only one company offering broadband installation ( never got there name ) no other options I was told but I could be wrong
But on one complex where my friend has a place one resident has it installed and the locals pay him a small amount so they can connect to his wifi
Could be worth asking local to your place if anything similar

Thanks , yes I know the company they seem to have a monopoly. we do have wifi in the community but restricted to one device at a time so looking at getting our own.

Can one of you please change your name to Rodney to make life easier?

Only if you change yours to Trigger but then again Trigger calls Rodney Dave

That was the basis of my attempted joke David. There were too many Daves flyng about, it was confusing me. I’m off to put a new head on my broom.

There is an option in Matagorda called LPM Wi-Fi which sells packages fairly reasonably. Not sure if it is local to Matagorda or whether it’s available over the whole island

We own a lovely apartment in Matagorda Bay but the locally supplied WiFi runs like a three legged dog with piles. My suggestion would be to either install a dedicated service like several of my fellow residents have done, who choose to live there for a reasonably long period of the year, or go to a local buy hosting free access, as we do.

    Simples.
