Apartment in Los Molinos, Costa Teguise ?

Asked by: 5th July 2013 ,

We spent 4 years looking for a holiday home on Lanzarote. We visited the complex Los Molinos in Costa Teguise, and liked it a lot. It would be great to get some feedback here before buying from owners or ex-owners.

I`ve had a timeshare there for the past 20 years and can`t think of anything negative to say about the complex. As you will have seen the pool area and gardens are excellent and very well maintained. Most apartments are residential with very few timeshare owners remaining. If the apartment you are looking at meets your needs then it is one of the better complexes on the island.

Must agree with Ian. Los Molinos was one of the first complexes to be built in Costa Teguise and as such benefits from having some architecture sympathetic with the island and not Benidorm pastiche as appears to be happening now. Lovely gardens and pool, what more would you want?

We bought an apartment there over 30 years ago. It is excellent. The complex is very well maintained and the workers are very helpful if you ever have a problem. Manuella has been the administrator of the communidad for many years and she keeps it running smoothly – thats why she gets voted in to the role every year. As Tom says, it is pretty pleasing on the eye as it more than just a square apartment block. Just come back from 3 weeks there and can’t wait to go back in the autumn. Would highly recommend Los Molinos.
