Marie – my profound apologies – I have only just realised that I didn’t thank you for your information regarding towels at the Teguise Hotel. Better late than never! I notice the temperature is slowly rising and there were even a few hardy souls in view on the loungers today at 17:00hrs.
      Thanks again!

Yes they do for a refundable deposit of 10 euro per towel.

OK Tracy – thanks for that – it may have seemed a bit of a strange question to ask about a supposed 4* hotel – until we found out that they charge 2 – 20 euros a day to ‘borrow’ a kettle! If you have any useful ‘tips’ regarding this hotel I’d be very grateful to hear them. Regards,

We always e-mail the hotel before we go and request our room. We like a room on the 4th floor in the middle of the hotel ie room no 430 – 440 . The views are great from all balconies but I prefer to be in the middle. Do be warned though that from these room no’s the evening entertainment can be heard but it finishes around midnight. Don’t pay extra for a superior room as these are the same as other rooms only on a higher floor. All in all this is a great hotel in which we’ve always had a lovely holiday.

Tracy – Thanks for that. I did email the hotel regarding tea making facilities, previous to my initial website question. Hence knowing a) that they don’t include them & b) that they charge to hire a kettle. The hotel recommended floor 4 and, to their credit, also informed us that the middle rooms (section B I think) could be noisy until late evening. We have a Holiday Property Bond and have stayed on their site at Santa Rosa a few times, which is lovely. Unfortunately they are already full so we switched to the Teguise Playa. Mike
