David what is/or the current exchange rates over there atm or when you last visited?

Marian, do this mean its pretty noisey :/?

  4. Marian Walker on Mar 25, 2013

Can be noisey as the there are small cement mixers on the go also cutting of bricks pavements are badly neding done as some are quite rough. We got euro’s from the atm we got 1.12. although some of the shops were offering 1.13.

This time we stayed in the Oceano basic but clean, they are studios fairly big. We have stayed in most of the apartments in the centre we have been 15 times so think we know the place well. We prefer the Oasis Lanz and are staying there when we are back in November. It is such a homely resort with so many nice places to eat ( we don’t cook at all out for all meals asit is so reasonably priced). The square is good at night and Chipas is so reasonable for drink.

Hope I have not bored you? where are you staying and are you like us regular visitors?

ill have to take a look at them in a sec, we stayed at the Barcelo La Galea over the Jubilee last year (the one pretty much on the sea front) as my partner is pregnant 🙂 she wants to go back there as she found it nice, relaxing, and enjoyed the food (we went AI) she dont really wanna go some where she dont know i guess thats why we are going back to Costa Teguise this year 🙂 but we both enjoyeed it there so many friendly people as well 🙂

when we were there in March we ate somewhere different everynight, also breakfast in Henessys is exellent have been going there for years now for breaky. Have stayed in the Barcelo La Galea did like them but you can only get A/I there and we really enjoy eating out, our daughter son in law and grandaughter love it as well. Yes you are right the people are so friendly that what we enjoy about the square at night such a good atmosphere.

will have to check out Henessys this time then, on your recommendation, as the one thing with Barcelo we wernt to happy with there breaky, so we used “Fuel Stop” for a nice coffee and breaky the guys there were great and was nice to eat that while looking outto the beach and the views 🙂

Thanks for your info will deffo checka few of them out as we didnt really explore places to eat last time 🙂

Marian/Tom where is Chrispas located? as i have tried to find that and Hennesseys on a map / search engine but i think im having a blonde moment,, lol

  14. Tom Iles on Mar 26, 2013

Terry. Chispas is located in the Pueblo Marinero which is the main square with the bandstand in the middle. It is next to El Patio restaurant. It’s only a small bar with chairs outside but was probably the first bar in that area offering cheap drinks. Simon does a mean Bloody Mary, two of those and you are staggering home.

lol i may stay off the “Bloody Mary” not sure i could handle that from your review on it, lol but thanks for that ill have to have a wonder over there as never last time thought it was just big resturants,,,
